We’re a volunteer team supporting the Utah County Sheriff’s Office Department of Emergency Management — trained, equipped, and standing by when our community needs us most.
The Utah County Emergency Communication and Support Team works under the authority of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office Department of Emergency Management to provide critical support during emergencies, disasters, and public safety events.
Our trained volunteers help establish communication links, staff emergency facilities, and provide the coordination that keeps responders connected and communities informed when it matters most.
Three core areas define our work and our commitment to the communities we serve.
We establish and maintain communications facilities, links, and procedures for use during disasters, emergencies, and public safety events across Utah County.
We set high standards for training and equipment readiness, developing skilled volunteers who can deploy effectively when called upon.
We coordinate with government agencies, emergency services, and community organizations — building the relationships that matter before an emergency happens.
